Innovative Network Focused on Food and Process Technology

StaalNet aims to further the development of innovative process equipment for food and food ingredients. The network seeks bridge the gap between Danish companies and government institutions, universities and other scientific institutions at home and abroad.

Steely Focus on Collaboration

StaalNet’s goal is to expand Denmark’s position of strength on the global market for production and machinery and equipment for the food industry. The means to achieve this goal is collaboration and information sharing across the value chain – between component suppliers, food producers, consultants, end users, etc.

StaalNet regularly launches demonstration projects based on specific issues and opportunities in the development of process equipment. Examples of existing focus areas:

  • Hygienic design
  • Surface topography and hygiene
  • Material selection for structures
  • Corrosion in process plants

Communication of Information on Innovative Process Technology

Through a series of activities StaalNet aims to provide our members with the latest developments in process technology. We offer seminars, courses, workshops and company visits.
