Focus on Communication and Collaboration at OSI Meeting
Representatives from several Operations of Strategic Importance (OSI) recently participated in a joint meeting focused on communication, visibility, and collaboration across EU-funded projects within the Interreg South Baltic Programme.
The meeting brought together representatives from four OSI projects, including Circular Ocean-bound Plastic (COP), which has been designated as an Operation of Strategic Importance under the Interreg South Baltic Programme. This status is awarded to projects of particular strategic significance, where strong communication, visibility, and dissemination of results play a key role.
The purpose of the meeting was to strengthen communication about project activities and results, while also sharing experiences on how to increase the visibility of EU-funded initiatives.
The programme included presentations on strategic communication, an interactive session on the OSI concept, experience sharing, and practical exercises focused on planning visible and effective project activities. Participants also worked with concrete tools and ideas on how communication can make project results more accessible and relevant to citizens, businesses, and decision-makers.
The meeting highlighted the importance of continued collaboration, knowledge sharing, and targeted communication in strengthening the impact and visibility of Operations of Strategic Importance across the Baltic Sea Region.
