Plast Center Denmark Hosts the First MAT4EU General Assembly

Plast Center Denmark is the Danish partner in the European Eurocluster project MAT4EU, which focuses on advanced materials and their role in strengthening innovation across Europe.

On 17–18 June 2026, we had the pleasure of hosting the first MAT4EU General Assembly, bringing together project partners from across Europe.

During the meeting, partners reviewed the status of the upcoming Open Calls, through which small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) will be able to apply for funding to develop products based on advanced materials. The meeting also highlighted opportunities for SMEs to participate in internationalisation activities, as well as a range of training and skills development programmes.

The MAT4EU project runs for three years, and similar General Assembly meetings will be hosted by project partners in countries including Germany, Spain, and Lithuania throughout the project period.

The project aims to strengthen the innovation capacity, international collaboration, and skills of European SMEs within advanced materials and related technologies.
