A strong start for the MAT4EU project!
On 28–29 October 2025, the MAT4EU consortium met in Brussels for the official Kick-off Meeting at the Délégation générale de la Région Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. Two focused and productive days aligned partners around a shared vision and a clear path forward.
Highlights from the meeting:
- Overview of project goals, structure, and timeline presented by Polymeris (POL)
- Partner introductions (POL, PCD, RKW, LINPRA, MAV, BIC), clarifying roles and strengthening collaboration
- Review of operational and financial frameworks, consortium agreements, and key inputs from EISMEA and from other Eurocluster kick off meetings
- Deep dives into all Work Packages, addressing innovation, EU strategic autonomy, green and digital transformation, internationalisation, skills, and communication
Day 2 moved from alignment to action:
- Introduction to WP7 on project management and performance
- Interactive workshops on ecosystem analysis (WP1) and preparation of the first Open Call (WP2–WP3), drawing on lessons from AMULET H2020 and POLREC
Outcome: a committed consortium, a solid roadmap, and strong momentum to build a more innovative and resilient European advanced materials ecosystem.
