PORLEC Webinar: Exploring Europe and Canadian cooperation in plastics & Rubbers Industries
In the frame of the POLREC project, the partners organised a study trip to Quebec from 3 to 6 February 2025 on polymer waste recycling with 9 enterprises participants and 2 clusters.
Meeting with COP partners for the third time – this time in Rostock and Warnemünde
On 11 September 2024 Geraldo and Hatice took the long trip to Rostock for meeting with COP partners. Most of the COP partners met at the evening by the harbour to look at the placement of the portbins and the litter collection and have dinner together.
Second physical COP meeting after “”Save the Baltic Sea” event
On 29 April Plast Center Denmark attended to the event “Save the Baltic Sea” at The Blue Planet in Copenhagen.
Macro-plastics threaten Baltic Sea ecosystems: New Interreg project pioneer sustainable solutions
Macro-plastics pose a growing threat to Baltic Sea ecosystems. Every year, between 4 and 12 million tons of plastic end up in the ocean, and plastic consumption is in-creasing. Combating this global pollution problem requires inter-national action. Circular Ocean-bound Plastic (COP), a new Interreg project, is set to tackle the challenge by focusing on collection and recycling of plastics at the source with a transnational partnership.
