MAT4EU

We are pleased to share that the „Advanced Materials for a Sustainable European Future” (MAT4EU) project is one of the 16 newly selected Euroclusters under the SMP-COSME-2024-CLUSTER call. The MAT4EU project officially began on October 1, 2025, under the Grant Agreement No. 101236716.

On 28–29 October 2025, our consortium gathered in Brussels for the official MAT4EU Kick-off Meeting at the Délégation générale de la Région Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. Two productive days, filled with collaboration, planning, and a shared vision, set the stage for an exciting journey ahead.

The project aims to drive investment while strengthening the resilience and global competitiveness of European SMEs. Over the next three years, the project will empower SMEs to expand into international markets and integrate into global supply chains. By combining financial support with internationalisation, networking, and tailored training, the project will help SMEs develop cutting-edge Advanced Materials solutions.

The partnership brings together six leading European clusters, which aim to build a cohesive, collaborative Advanced Materials ecosystem across Europe by leveraging the strengths of multiple regional clusters and existing networks and initiatives:

  • POLYMERIS (Coordinator)
  • Advanced Materials Cluster of Catalonia
  • Bydgoszcz Industrial Cluster Tool Valley
  • LINPRA – Lithuanian Plastics Cluster
  • Plast Center Danmark
  • RKW Sachsen

Together, we aim to enhance the sustainability and circularity of value chains and adopt state-of-the-art digital technologies of European SMEs in the global market.
