Seminar: Understanding Soft Materials – Properties, Processing and Design
The use of soft materials can be for soft-touch, sealing, friction and many other features. Understanding the properties, processing and design considerations of different materials will make decisions easier when selecting, designing and processing.
Course: Understanding mechanical properties of thermoplastics (BIMS2)
– The key to material selection, part design and performance
Seminar: Flexible Packaging – from demands to solutions
Plastic packaging is currently receiving significant attention. New requirements, changing market conditions, and increasing expectations regarding recyclability and documentation are increasingly influencing the work carried out by companies responsible for the development, procurement, specification, and use of packaging.
Online seminar: Scaling Circular Materials
– Technologies and Opportunities for Material Sourcing, Smart Sorting and High-Value Reuse and Recycling
Seminar: Paint Systems, Inspection, Corrosion Monitoring & Maintenance
This seminar brings together experts from leading companies and research institutions to share the latest insights into materials, sustainability, corrosion‑protection strategies, and smart sensing solutions. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of new developments that support more efficient, predictable, and data‑driven maintenance of critical assets.
Seminar: Degradation of Plastics
For most technical applications of plastic materials, it is extremely important that the performance of polymer used is not degrading too fast. When new products are being made with – even small amounts of – recycled plastics, this discussion becomes more complex both in terms of product safety and product performance – particularly lifetime. Can we measure the degradation? How much of a recycled polymer is safe to add too your raw material? What can we do to minimize the degradation?
