The cluster functioned as an incubation centre for new innovative projects that had a strong focus on research, development, demonstration and market maturation of energy and climate friendly solutions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNew technologies and test centre for the greenhouse profession\u201d was a project to develop new energy technologies and establish a test centre for nurseries, technology suppliers, greenhouse manufacturers and consultants. The aim was to develop economically viable solutions to make it possible to reduce the energy usage of the greenhouse profession by 30%.<\/p>\n<p>The second project centred around technology for electrically powered work vehicles demonstrated on an electrically driven refuse collection vehicle and a city recycler \u2013 perhaps better known as refuse lorries and gully suckers.
