{"id":2135,"date":"2022-09-26T11:18:46","date_gmt":"2022-09-26T09:18:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dmn.cmswordpress.dk\/?post_type=dmn-projects&#038;p=2135"},"modified":"2025-02-19T10:00:01","modified_gmt":"2025-02-19T10:00:01","slug":"development-of-improved-clay-brick-products-using-plastic-fibres","status":"publish","type":"dmn-projects","link":"https:\/\/www.dmn-net.com\/en\/dmn-projects\/development-of-improved-clay-brick-products-using-plastic-fibres\/","title":{"rendered":"Development of improved clay brick products using plastic fibres"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A project financed by the Region of Southern Denmark and The Danish Agency for Science and Innovation.<\/p>\n<p>This was a development project initiated by the company Danish Fibre Production in Varde.<\/p>\n<p>The project work was carried out in collaboration between a series of companies with the goal of improving clay brick products by the addition of plastic fibres.<\/p>\n<p>The expected effect of adding plastic fibres to clay, which was subsequently kiln fired, was:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Achievement of a capillary structure giving a weight reduction in the finished product.<\/li>\n<li>Lower percentage of waste in the production.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The reason for the latter is that fewer bricks explode during firing due to trapped steam.<\/p>\n<p>The lower percentage of waste gives rise to a number of advantages such as lower CO2 emissions, increased profits in the value chain, as well as better export opportunities due to an improved product.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false},"projects-categories":[79],"class_list":["post-2135","dmn-projects","type-dmn-projects","status-publish","hentry","projects-categories-archive"],"acf":[],"aioseo_notices":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.dmn-net.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/dmn-projects\/2135","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.dmn-net.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/dmn-projects"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.dmn-net.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/dmn-projects"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.dmn-net.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=2135"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"projects-categories","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.dmn-net.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/projects-categories?post=2135"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
