Denmark for the goals

On Friday, June 28, 2019, Plast Center Danmark/Danish Materials Network was invited to an event at the Square in Esbjerg, which addressed the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.

Today’s theme was Packaging as a Resource. During the 4 hours we got a lot of good discussions about the advantages and disadvantages of plastic packaging.

At the stand, we also had a competition where the participants had to guess how many chopped ½ l bottles were in a pillar of bottle scrap. There were the equivalent of 181 bottles and the 43 participants offered a lot of spread answers between 13 and 50,000! Each hour there was a prize for the participant closest to the correct number. In the last hour we got the best guess of the day on 179 bottles. Congratulations to Emil, Carsten, Mitra and Emilie.
