Substitution of materials offshore

A project financed by the Region of Southern Denmark and the European Union.

The project focuses on substitution of materials used offshore. A screening report has shown that a variety of polymeric materials can advantageously substitute traditional materials. Polymeric materials are relatively light, are non-corrosive, and can therefore by increased use offer considerable savings in the offshore sector.

In collaboration with project partners, a film was made about a multipurpose cabinet. The film shows how the cabinet can be quickly and easily assembled. The cabinet can also be assembled around existing equipment.

A report describing the project have been prepared.
